The day Katie's brother Max was born was the worst day of her life. She went from Golden Child to Persona Non Grata as soon as he let out his first (annoying) cry. She had to share her toys, her parents' attention, and the TV remote. It was SO unfair! But one day, when Katie was rummaging around in Daddy's shed, she found the chainsaw he'd used to cut down next door's prized chestnut tree (well, it WAS blocking the light in Max's window) and, as they say, the rest is history. As far as Katie was concerned, it was worth the years in Young Offenders!
