Machado imbues and reinterprets these elements to craft a distinctive cartoon style that is uniquely his own, with modern and even pop motifs that can only be seen up close. His compositions often incorporate recognizable features, such as the hands of classic characters or the eyes of vintage cartoon figures, seamlessly integrated to create a cohesive visual language.
Incorporating elements inspired by medieval English patterns, the small and medium format pieces feature intricate designs and motifs that draw on the heritage of medieval England, infusing the artwork with a sense of timelessness and tradition.
